Fullstack Java developer

Tasks:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications as a fullstack expert.
• Develop and design internal digital solutions that drive automation and directly support our long-term digitalization strategy — including advanced use cases with agentic AI for autonomous and intelligent systems.
• Mentor medior and junior developers, provide code reviews, and help define development standards.
• Make architectural decisions across backend (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend (React, Angular, or similar), balancing performance, maintainability, and user experience.
• Ensure seamless deployment and operations in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) on cloud platforms (e.g. Azure).
• Take initiative in adopting and integrating AI-enhanced tools — from code copilots to advanced automation frameworks — to increase productivity and innovation.
• (Optional) Contribute your UX knowledge to help design intuitive and efficient interfaces.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Economical Informatics, Information Technology, Programming Mathematics or equivalent working experiences
• 5+ years of experience in web application development field
• Java and/or Kotlin , Spring Framework /Boot, Spring Data, JPA / Hibernate
• Angular (typescript)/ React knowledge
• Knowledge in SQL & SQL-extensions (e.g. PL/SQL or TSQL)
• Docker and/or Kubernetes
• English intermediate level
• Experiences in agile methodologies
• Logical and systems thinking
• Communicative and like to work in teams
• High motivation and flexibility for demanding tasks to achieve the goal
• Initiative and can-do attitude

Considered a plus:

• NoSQL & NewSQL Mongo DB experiences are advantages
• German is an advantage
• Experience with the productive operations of your developed code is a strong plus

Location & onsite ratio:

• Flexible (1-3 days) onsite in the 10th district
